Responsibilities

As the HESSE Unit Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives. Your duties will include developing and executing health, safety, and environmental programs, conducting risk assessments, managing incident investigations, and fostering a culture of safety across all operations. Additionally, you will oversee social responsibility initiatives, monitor security protocols, and ensure alignment with sustainability goals.

You will also design and execute the comprehensive HESSE management system to ensure its effective integration and operation, and ensure adherence to all applicable local and international safety and environmental regulations to maintain operational integrity and legal compliance. You will conduct comprehensive risk evaluations and thorough investigations into incidents to identify root causes and implement preventive measures, and foster a robust culture of safety by developing and implementing comprehensive training initiatives and awareness campaigns. You will collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

In addition, you will oversee and manage daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to organizational objectives, implement and enforce policies and procedures that maintain high standards of performance and compliance, and develop and execute strategic plans to drive productivity and achieve key performance indicators. You will lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment, collaborate with cross-functional departments to align goals and optimize resource allocation, monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership, identifying trends and recommending improvements, and ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Profile

This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and expertise in HESSE management, along with proficiency in relevant industry regulations and standards. A bachelor’s degree is required for this position; a degree in a related field is preferred, and relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001) are advantageous.

Nexus Green is also seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and execute environmental sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in project management, with a strong background in environmental or sustainability projects. Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline. Key requirements include proficiency in project management methodologies, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a passion for sustainability. The role demands a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, and preferably a certification such as PMP or LEED.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in project execution, client engagement, and technical expertise within their domain, enabling them to tailor services to meet evolving business needs.
