Apostolic Voice Education Trust (AVET) is a Christian faith-based nonprofit organization working to transform communities across Africa through education, mental health support, economic empowerment, and media. As our programmes grow — including Apostolic Voice University, our Community Mental Health and First Aid programme, our Leadership Development and Mentorship Programme, and Ubuntu Vision Studios — we need a dedicated team of volunteers to help us manage our people: recruiting them, welcoming them, and keeping our records and policies in order. We are opening 5 volunteer positions on our new Volunteer HR Team. Below is everything you need to know before you apply.
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAID VOLUNTEER POSITION. There is no salary or payment attached to any of these roles. This is a volunteer opportunity to serve, gain experience, and contribute to a meaningful mission. Please only apply if you are able and willing to serve without pay.

Organize short check-in meetings with the rest of the HR team (weekly or every two weeks)
Keep track of which volunteer and staff positions across AVET are open and still need to be filled
Keep a simple written record (a tracker/list) of recruitment progress and share a short update once a month
Help sort out any small disagreements or problems within the team, and pass on anything serious to AVET leadership

This person helps find and welcome new volunteers and staff. Day to day, you will:
Help write and share job/volunteer adverts on different platforms
