Healthcare Coverage Program Administrator

Additionally, the provider must demonstrate expertise in claims processing, customer service, and regulatory compliance to uphold the highest standards of service excellence.
Jhpiego, an international non-profit health organization affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, is seeking a qualified medical insurance provider or broker to deliver comprehensive, high-quality medical insurance services to its employees and eligible dependents throughout Zambia. The chosen provider will deliver high-quality, affordable, and easily accessible healthcare services that adhere to regulatory standards and enhance the health and well-being of Jhpiego staff and their dependents. Jhpiego is currently seeking proposals from insurance providers and brokers to deliver high-quality medical insurance services for the period from 1st October 2026 to 30th September 2027. To ensure adherence to market benchmarks, Jhpiego Zambia, its field offices, and other provincial branches maintain consistent standards.
Objectives
The purpose of this engagement is to deliver full-spectrum medical insurance and healthcare administration for Jhpiego Zambia staff and their qualifying dependents over a twelve-month term, guaranteeing prompt access to high-quality healthcare services across the country.

The outlined timeline for this Request for Proposal (RFP) process is provided below, with all dates reflecting Central Africa Time (CAT) in Lusaka, Zambia (GMT+2). Bidder Questions are due by 13:00 Hours on 4 September 2026. Proposals are due by September 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM local time.
