• Support the preparation of quantity takeoffs and the development of associated documentation. bills of quantities (BoQs) from drawings and specifications
• Assist in developing comprehensive cost estimates, detailed budgets, and thorough tender documentation.
• Perform material take-offs and evaluate supplier quotations to facilitate procurement decisions.
• Support the measurement of completed tasks and preparation of monthly valuations, interim payment certificates, and variation records.
• Provide assistance to on-site teams by overseeing cost monitoring, reconciling materials, and generating progress reports.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate and well-organized cost records, contract documentation, and project files. What You Bring:

Expérience

• Obtained or currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying. We seek a candidate holding a degree in Construction Economics, Building, or a closely related discipline, with a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and project management principles. Professional Rewrite: While prior experience with measurement and estimating in a construction setting would be advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for this role.
• Demonstrates a strong command of construction drawings, industry-specific terminology, and essential building components.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, while experience with quantity surveying (QS) software or drafting tools such as Cost, Wins, Candy, Blue beam, or AutoCAD would be advantageous, though not mandatory.
