These systems effectively transform organic waste into sustainable biogas energy and nutrient-rich organic fertilizer. Currently, we are executing a transformative national initiative spanning 3.5 years, aiming to deploy 2,000 biodigester units nationwide, covering all 10 provinces. With our expanding operations, we are enhancing our sales and engineering frameworks to ensure efficient, large-scale field implementation. Programme Overview (Development-Focused) We are seeking ambitious early-career talent to join our dynamic Internship Programs, which feature two specialized tracks. i. Professional Version: Internship Opportunity – Sales Department: Positions available in Lusaka and Able. ii. Internship – Engineering: Lusaka This program offers entry-level candidates a structured pathway to develop into skilled specialists and potential future managers. Participants will collaborate with seasoned professionals, gradually assuming increased responsibilities as they demonstrate growth and capability. Track A: Internship Opportunity – Sales This role offers a dynamic internship position focused on sales, providing hands-on experience in a fast-paced business environment. The ideal candidate will support sales initiatives, assist with client engagement, and contribute to revenue growth under the guidance of experienced professionals. Key responsibilities include market research, lead generation, and assisting with the execution of sales strategies. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication skills, a results-driven mindset, and a willingness to learn. Proficiency in CRM tools and basic analytical abilities are advantageous. This internship presents an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking practical experience in sales and business development. i. Role Summary The Sales Intern will provide support to the Sales and Business Development team, handling tasks such as preparing proposals, facilitating client interactions, engaging with stakeholders, and managing administrative duties. The ideal candidate will acquire hands-on experience in business development, customer relationship management, and sales operations within the renewable energy industry, while also playing a key role in advancing the company’s growth initiatives. Progressive Learning and Delivery: Core Responsibilities Under your direction, you will develop proficiency in the following areas: Market research will be conducted to uncover viable business opportunities. Prepare business proposals, quotations, and other sales-related documentation in collaboration with the team to support sales initiatives. Ensure timely responses to proposals, letters, and other client communications. Handle incoming and outgoing emails with professionalism, crafting clear and concise responses while ensuring all communications adhere to established etiquette standards. Handle incoming and outgoing communications via phone with agricultural professionals, clients, partners, and relevant stakeholders. Oversee the organization and upkeep of customer records while enhancing client relationship management initiatives. Additionally, applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, along with the ability to meet quarterly sales targets. Familiarity with market analysis and strategic planning is highly desirable. A Bachelor’s Degree in Bioenergy, Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, Public Relations, Sales, or a closely related discipline is required. Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in both written and oral communication. Required competencies include advanced skills in utilizing Microsoft Office applications. Highly developed organizational abilities and strong interpersonal competencies are essential for this role. Highly motivated and committed to continuous learning and professional development. Possesses up to one year of professional experience, which may include internship or attachment opportunities. Role Summary The Engineering Intern will provide technical assistance in the execution of the company’s Solid Waste Management Project, including participation in field activities, project oversight, data acquisition, and engineering-specific duties. This internship provides practical exposure to renewable energy, environmental sustainability, and construction practices, facilitated through collaboration with seasoned technical experts.
