Reliable Steel and Plastic Industries Limited is recruiting for the position of Production Manager – Plastic Manufacturing Industry. The successful candidate will be based in Onitsha, Anambra, Nigeria. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, highly driven and results-oriented Production Manager to lead and manage our production operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing professional with strong leadership ability and proven experience in managing production teams, achieving production targets, improving efficiency and reducing operational losses.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for daily production activities. Develop and implement production plans to ensure targets are achieved efficiently. Supervise Production Superintendents, Supervisors and other production personnel. Monitor machine utilization, production output, downtime and operational efficiency. Identify and implement measures to reduce production losses, material wastage and unnecessary downtime. Work closely with the Maintenance, Quality Control, Stores and other relevant departments to ensure smooth operations. Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines and production materials. Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality and operational performance. Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards and production policies. Prepare and review production reports and make informed recommendations to Management.
Requirements
B.Sc. / HND in Engineering, Production Management or a related discipline. Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in a senior production leadership or management position. Strong practical knowledge of manufacturing operations. Experience in plastic manufacturing, injection moulding and Hydraulics system Extruding blow moulding operations will be a strong advantage. Demonstrated ability to manage large production teams and achieve demanding production targets. Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
