Position Overview A leading lime processing enterprise is currently seeking applications from highly qualified and seasoned professionals to fill the position with Crane Operator . Key Responsibilities Execute mobile crane operations with precision and adherence to established company protocols and regulatory mandates. Perform pre-operational inspections and carry out routine maintenance checks on cranes and all associated lifting equipment. Transport, position, and install materials, equipment, and machinery according to provided instructions. Ensure that all lifting operations are conducted in strict adherence to approved lifting plans and applicable safety regulations. Effectively liaise with riggers, supervisors, and other relevant personnel throughout lifting operations to ensure clear and coordinated communication. Communicate any equipment defects, incidents, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel without delay. Maintain precise documentation pertaining to crane inspections, operational procedures, and maintenance tasks. Ensure strict compliance with all established health, safety, and environmental regulations and protocols mandated by the company. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 School Certificate. A valid crane operator certificate or license issued by a reputable institution is required. A minimum of one year of hands-on experience operating mobile cranes within mining, construction, or industrial settings is required. Proficient in crane operation techniques, including load chart interpretation and adherence to established lifting protocols and safety regulations. Demonstrates a capacity to function effectively with limited oversight and in high-pressure situations. Effective interpersonal communication and collaborative abilities are essential. Possession of a valid driver’s license is highly desirable.
