Kashia Limited, a recruitment firm, is seeking a Social Media Manager for a remote, full-time position within the IT/Telecom sector in Nigeria. Our client needs a professional to manage their social presence effectively, not just by posting content but by actively building an audience. This role involves owning the content calendar, writing compelling copy, coordinating visual assets, and reporting on performance metrics.
Key responsibilities include planning and maintaining a monthly content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, and X; writing copy that resonates authentically rather than sounding like a press release; briefing or producing visual assets using Canva or Figma; managing community engagement by responding to comments and DMs and routing potential leads to the sales team; and providing monthly reports on reach, engagement, and follower growth with actionable recommendations.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand or agency, with strong writing skills as a core competency. Comfort with basic design tools and short-form video editing is required, along with a deep understanding of how LinkedIn works for B2B. Candidates should be able to showcase accounts they have successfully grown. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or HR tech, paid social experience, and basic video production skills.
The monthly salary for this position ranges from $200 to $397. The application closing date is not specified. Interested candidates are encouraged

Expert Application Advice
Many senior roles at Kashia Limited want proof you can lead strategy, not just execute. When addressing 2 years of experience, briefly cite a specific past project where you managed a team through complexity—this signals you understand the business impact behind the requirement.
Positioning — Your cover letter must answer one question: why YOU for THIS specific role right NOW? Avoid generic templates — one sentence on what you specifically bring beats three generic paragraphs.
Campaign portfolio — Prepare 2-3 campaign examples with objectives, channels used, and results (reach, engagement, conversions). Note: communication recruiters systematically check your personal social profiles.

- •Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
- •Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
- •Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
- •Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
- •Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
- •A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
