We are seeking a Communications & Marketing Intern to join our team at a non-governmental organization. This is a remote, flexible part-time internship offering real ownership over live channels and campaigns.
Experience
You will gain varied experience across two different mission-driven organizations, including charity sports challenges and humanitarian tech. You will have direct exposure to running campaigns with real partner organizations, NGOs, and international networks. This is a paid internship.
Profile
We are looking for someone currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, International Relations, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or a related field. You should have excellent written English and be comfortable adapting tone across social media. Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) is required, as is experience with Canva, Figma, or similar design tools. You should be comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Manus) to support content creation, editing, and research, while ensuring high-quality, accurate output. We value an organized, autonomous, and reliable individual who can manage schedules and priorities across two organizations without close supervision. An interest in humanitarian action, social impact, international development, or technology for good is essential.
It would be nice if you have experience with Mailchimp or another email marketing platform, WordPress experience for website content, comfort reading basic social media analytics/KPIs, and proficiency in French and/or Spanish.
