Our client, a leading heavy equipment dealer supporting major mining operations, is seeking an experienced Technical Support & Warranty Manager to oversee technical support, warranty activities and OEM technical service requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing OEM Service Letters, new machine warranties, commercial and goodwill claims, technical assistance and service development, while ensuring compliance with OEM technical standards and procedures. Responsibilities: Manage and monitor OEM technical bulletins and Service Letters. Ensure Service Letters and technical updates are effectively communicated and implemented. Oversee warranty management relating to new machines. Manage warranty claims and ensure compliance with OEM warranty procedures. Review and manage commercial claims and exceptional goodwill claims. Coordinate technical assistance and support for complex equipment issues. Provide technical guidance to Service and Field Service teams. Ensure technical activities are carried out in accordance with OEM standards and procedures. Support the development and improvement of technical service offerings. Liaise with OEM and internal stakeholders regarding technical, warranty and product support matters. Promote high standards of technical support, customer service and equipment reliability. Requirements : Qualification and Skill Relevant technical, mechanical or engineering qualification.
Expérience
Extensive experience within heavy equipment technical services, product support or aftersales operations. Previous experience within an OEM heavy equipment dealer environment. Strong knowledge of HME equipment, systems and technical support processes. Experience managing OEM Service Letters and technical bulletins. Strong understanding of warranty processes, warranty claims and goodwill claims. Experience within the mining and heavy mobile equipment sector. Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Good understanding of dealer technical support and product support processes.
Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively with Field Service, workshop and customer-facing teams. French language skills advantageous.
