The Ministry of Works and Transport (Most) is seeking candidates for the Carpi-Moyo-Afojii/Kaduna-Muko-Kamuganguzi Road Upgrading Project, which involves the Design and Build of upgrades to the Carpi-Moyo-Afojii Road (39.3 km), the Carpi Bridge (1.0 km), and five kilometers of urban roads in Carpi and Mono. Country: Uganda Procurement Method: International Open Competitive Bidding (CBI) CBI No: Most/WRKS/2026-2027/00002 Issued: 18 August 2026 The Procurement and Disposal Unit is responsible for overseeing the acquisition and management of goods and services, as well as ensuring the proper disposal of assets in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. This role involves coordinating with various departments to identify procurement needs, evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance to meet budgetary and quality objectives. Additionally, the unit ensures that all disposal processes adhere to environmental and legal requirements, including asset tracking, recycling initiatives, and secure data destruction where applicable. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in procurement software are essential for success in this position. The Ministry of Works and Transport is seeking qualified candidates to fill this position, offering an opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of critical infrastructure.
