Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight of all accounting functions at the branch level while promoting sound financial and inventory management practices. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate warehouse accounting records, such as stock cards, and escalating relevant financial matters to the Branch Manager. Additionally, the role involves designing and implementing training initiatives for branch accounting staff, ensuring adherence to established stock management principles, and preparing compliant financial statements in line with regulatory and accounting standards.
The position further demands active involvement in cash flow planning, budget preparation, and budgetary control, alongside ensuring strict compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Effective supervision of branch accounts staff, meticulous maintenance of stock records, and regular monitoring of warehouse stock ledgers will also be essential to this role.
