This position requires strict adherence to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) guidelines, stringent quality benchmarks, and rigorous safety protocols in all maintenance activities. Key responsibilities also encompass budget oversight, financial analysis, and strategic cost reduction initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency without compromising equipment dependability. Specific Job Responsibility The position will entail the following duties and responsibilities: Collaborate closely with planning teams to create and manage comprehensive maintenance schedules for drilling equipment, aiming to reduce downtime and enhance operational reliability. Provide technical support to Technical Advisors and Supervisors by troubleshooting issues in accordance with the Triggered Actions Response plan when equipment malfunctions exceed a two-hour duration. Conduct thorough failure analyses for significant component malfunctions and prolonged breakdowns exceeding four hours, documenting root causes and implementing corrective measures in detailed reports. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the defined scope of work, maintaining quality standards, and meeting deadlines for mechanical and electrical maintenance operations on drilling equipment. Attend mandatory kickoff, work, and pre-inspection meetings, as well as toolbox meetings, training sessions, and improvement programs whenever required. Verify that all required statutory inspections for equipment within designated areas remain current and compliant with applicable regulations. Verify that all designated logbooks are accurately and currently maintained. Collaborate on the development of the maintenance budget, incorporating OEM-recommended maintenance intervals and past maintenance records to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Monitor expenditures in comparison to the approved budget, pinpoint any variances, and implement corrective measures as needed. Uncover potential cost reductions while upholding stringent safety standards and maintaining equipment reliability through enhanced maintenance efficiency. Collaborate effectively with procurement and supply chain teams to secure spare parts and materials at the most advantageous costs while ensuring inventory levels are appropriately maintained. Maintain meticulous and timely completion of all maintenance records, work orders, and inspection sheets. To gather all necessary details for executing or preparing corrective actions, utilize the work request and/or defect notice request procedures to capture complete information. Create a culture that prioritizes ongoing professional growth by motivating team members to engage in training programs and skill enhancement opportunities. Confer with the departing or incoming crew regarding potential safety hazards and concerns, ongoing tasks from prior shifts, the advancement of mining plans, and the current status of scheduled work. Engage in both on-the-job and off-the-job training initiatives and learning experiences to enhance professional development and skill acquisition. Professional Rewrite: Exhibit enthusiasm and commitment towards operating all equipment and achieving the organization’s objectives.
