Ensure compliance with project scope, quality benchmarks, and scheduled timelines for mechanical and electrical maintenance activities on drilling equipment. Attend required kickoff, work, and pre-inspection meetings, as well as toolbox meetings, training sessions, and improvement programs as deemed necessary. Ensure that all required statutory inspections for equipment within designated areas are conducted and remain current. Verify that all log books within designated areas are accurately and consistently maintained and kept current. We collaborate on developing the maintenance budget, incorporating maintenance schedules recommended by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and analyzing historical maintenance data to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Oversee actual expenditure in comparison to budgetary allocations, pinpoint variances, and implement corrective measures as required. Evaluate potential expenses reductions while upholding safety standards and ensuring consistent equipment performance by enhancing maintenance workflows. Collaborate effectively with procurement and supply chain departments to secure spare parts and materials at the most favorable prices while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Accurate and timely completion of all maintenance records, work orders, and inspection sheets is required. To facilitate the accurate execution or planning of corrective actions, it is essential to gather and document comprehensive information through the established work request and defect notice request processes. • •Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
  • •Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
  • •Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
  • •Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
  • •Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
  • •A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
