Description We seek a detail-oriented, resilient, and collaborative IT Security Engineer to integrate with our Network and Infrastructure team. The Network & Security Engineer will play a key role in upholding Future Link’s commitment to delivering a platform with 99.9% secure availability by enhancing infrastructure performance through proactive measures, managing network connectivity, assisting in the oversight of internal network security, and ensuring full compliance with ISO 27001 Security Standards alongside applicable regulatory obligations. As a core member of the Security and Infrastructure Team, he serves as the primary technical liaison for network integrations, guaranteeing uninterrupted, high-performance connectivity between remote customer sites, external service partners, and our central infrastructure. Oversee a comprehensive set of duties encompassing primary objectives and strategic initiatives, including the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of processes to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to organizational goals. Execute critical tasks such as managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining rigorous compliance with industry standards and internal policies. Additionally, provide expert guidance to stakeholders, conduct thorough performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and actionable recommendations. Maintain and provide support for network connectivity across private APNs, cellular gateways, site-to-site IPsec VPNs, and public internet connections. Partner with external technical teams and service providers to address and resolve trunk issues, routing errors, last-mile failures, and link degradations through direct collaboration and coordination. Configure, oversee, and maintain essential firewalls, routers, switches, and Plans to uphold robust network operations and security, prioritizing minimal downtime and enforcing stringent access controls across all systems. Systems Administration involves overseeing and maintaining both Windows desktop and Linux server environments, utilizing standard command-line utilities to analyze network traffic, examine system logs, and facilitate routine system maintenance tasks. Enforce organizational security policies and ensure adherence to ISO 27001 standards by overseeing system audits, monitoring security logs, and verifying that all network configurations align with ISO 27001 control requirements. Monitor infrastructure health vigilantly while addressing perimeter alerts promptly. Develop and maintain detailed network topology diagrams, incident escalation pathways, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational excellence.
