Ohms Network Infrastructure and Communication Company recrute un Network Field Engineer & Fiber Splicer pour rejoindre son équipe à Kampala. Ce poste à temps plein relève du secteur IT & Télécoms et offre une rémunération mensuelle comprise entre USh 500 000 et 1 000 000.

Le titulaire du poste sera responsable de l'installation, du raccordement (splicing), des tests, de la mise en service, de la maintenance et du dépannage des réseaux de fibre optique. Il devra garantir une connectivité fibre de haute qualité, soutenir les déploiements réseau, intervenir sur les pannes terrain et maintenir la fiabilité des services conformément aux exigences de l'entreprise.

Responsabilités clés

  • Installer, terminer, épisser et tester les câbles à fibre optique (monomode et multimode).
  • Effectuer le raccordement par fusion sur les câbles à fibre optique aériens, souterrains et intérieurs.
  • Réaliser des tests OTDR, à l'aide d'un puissance-mètre optique et d'un localisateur de défauts visuels (VFL).
  • Diagnostiquer les pannes de fibre optique et rétablir les services dans les délais convenus (SLA).
  • Installer et maintenir les panneaux de distribution de fibres (FDP), les répartiteurs optiques (ODF) et les boîtes de jonction.
  • Installer les équipements chez le client (CPE), les convertisseurs de média, les commutateurs, les routeurs et les dispositifs sans fil, le cas échéant.
  • Effectuer la maintenance préventive et corrective de l'infrastructure réseau.
  • Réaliser des études de site et préparer des rapports techniques et la documentation de récolement (as-built).
  • Coordonner avec le centre d'exploitation réseau (NOC) lors des maintenances planifiées et de la résolution des pannes.
  • Veiller au respect des normes de santé, de sécurité et d'environnement (HSE) lors des interventions sur le terrain.
  • Tenir à jour des registres précis des installations, des activités de maintenance et de l'utilisation des stocks.
  • Soutenir les projets d'extension du réseau et les installations chez les clients.

Le candidat idéal doit être titulaire d'un Diplôme (Min Qualification: Diploma) et justifier d'aucune expérience ou de moins d'un an d'expérience (No Experience/Less than 1 year). La maîtrise de l'anglais est requise (Language Requirement: English). Les horaires de travail sont à temps plein, de 8h à 17h.

Localisation

Le poste est basé en Ouganda (Uganda).
