HR Officer - People Operations
Salix Data, a global company with headquarters and sales offices in Cincinnati, Ohio, and service facilities in Kenya and India, is seeking a dedicated HR Officer to join our People Operations team. We have worked with over 2,500 of the fastest growing and most successful businesses in our region, including all local Fortune 500 companies, and many regional leaders, such as Cincinnati Children's Hospital and The Columbus Dispatch.
This is a full-time position requiring a qualification at BA/BSc/HND, Diploma, or Professional Certificate level, in the field of Human Resources.
Job Description
Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate the recruitment process from approved vacancy through to successful onboarding. Coordinate job advertisements, candidate pipelines, interviews and assessments. Maintain timely communication with candidates and hiring managers.
Employee Lifecycle Administration
Manage the day-to-day HR administration that supports employees throughout their employment. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Coordinate employment contracts, probation, confirmation and other employee lifecycle documentation. Manage leave administration and maintain accurate leave records.
HR Operations & Reporting
Ensure that core HR processes are completed accurately, consistently and on time. Maintain HR information in relevant systems and databases. Prepare routine HR reports relating to areas such as headcount, recruitment, leave, contracts and employee movements. Validate HR information and identify discrepancies or missing data. Monitor key HR deadlines and milestones and proactively follow up on outstanding actions. Support HR audits, compliance activities and other operational requirements. Maintain appropriate HR files and documentation.
