Job Purpose: The Communication Officer will lead the development and implementation of Concern Worldwide Liberia’s internal and external communications activities, supporting organisational visibility, learning, fundraising, advocacy, and programme quality objectives. The role will focus on identifying, capturing, and communicating high-quality stories of change and programme impact across Concern’s portfolio. The Communication Officer will work closely with programme, MEAL, and management teams to transform evidence, learning, and field experiences into compelling communication products that engage communities, donors, government stakeholders, media, and the wider public. The post holder will be responsible for developing engaging written, visual, and digital content; managing social media platforms; supporting media engagement; ensuring compliance with donor and Concern branding requirements; and strengthening staff capacity in communication and storytelling. Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate is a creative and highly motivated communications professional with exceptional storytelling, writing, and social media management skills, capable of transforming complex programme information into compelling human-interest stories, digital content, and visibility products that showcase impact, engage diverse audiences, strengthen donor and public engagement, and amplify the voices of the communities Concern serves. Core Responsibilities: Storytelling and Content Development: Lead the identification, documentation, and dissemination of stories of change, human-interest stories, case studies, success stories, and lessons learned from Concern programmes. Conduct regular field visits to gather programme participants’ testimonies, photographs, videos, and programme evidence. Produce compelling donor-ready and public-facing content showcasing programme achievements and impact. Develop blogs, feature articles,
