As we continue to strengthen our leadership team, we are seeking an exceptional Technical Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic, analytical, and execution support to the CEO while driving key business priorities across the organisation. Role Summary Reporting directly to the CEO, the Technical Assistant will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic execution partner, providing analytical, operational, and project management support across the business. The successful candidate will coordinate strategic initiatives, monitor execution of key decisions, conduct business research, prepare executive reports, and ensure effective collaboration across teams. This role is ideal for a highly analytical, commercially minded professional who can translate strategy into execution while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Support the CEO in strategic planning, business analysis, corporate performance monitoring, and executive decision-making. Coordinate the implementation of strategic initiatives and monitor progress against agreed milestones and KPIs. Conduct market research, business intelligence, financial analysis, and competitor benchmarking to support business growth. Prepare executive reports, Board papers, presentations, business cases, briefing notes, and management updates. Coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring timely execution, risk identification, and stakeholder alignment. Track executive decisions and follow up with business units to ensure accountability and timely delivery. Support policy development, process improvement, and organisational transformation initiatives. Manage executive meetings, strategic workshops, and follow-up actions while maintaining accurate records and documentation. Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to improve research, productivity, reporting, data analysis, knowledge management, and decision support. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Performance will be measured by: Timely execution of CEO directives and strategic initiatives. Quality and timeliness of executive reports, presentations, and decision support. Successful delivery of strategic projects within agreed timelines. Accuracy of performance dashboards and management reporting. Effectiveness of stakeholder coordination and follow-up. Quality of research, business insights, and recommendations. Continuous improvement of executive office processes and operational efficiency. Effective adoption of AI tools to improve productivity and business performance. Qualifications & Experience We are looking for candidates who possess: A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division (2:1) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Management Sciences, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree and/or MBA will be an added advantage. Minimum of five (5) years’ post-qualification experience, with working experience in a recognised Management Consulting firm strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience in strategy execution, project management, business analysis, executive reporting, or corporate planning. Proven ability to work directly with senior executives and manage multiple high-priority initiatives. Practical working knowledge and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, or similar platforms) to enhance productivity, research, analysis, report writing, and decision-making.
