- , funded by the Belgian Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (DGD). The programme is implemented in Cambodia, Ecuador, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and Belgium. The programme aims to improve the well-being and resilience of vulnerable populations through the protection of tropical forest ecosystems, inclusive conservation approaches, sustainable livelihoods, and actions addressing imported deforestation. Purpose of the Evaluation The evaluation will: Assess the programme's achievements and results over the [Click the Apply button below to apply, and Create my CV to build a CV tailored to this offer, professionally] period; Examine effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability; Assess the implementation of the management response developed following the mid-term evaluation; Identify lessons learned, good practices, and recommendations for future WWF programming; Contribute to accountability towards DGD and WWF stakeholders. The evaluation will cover all original programme components, including the Mai-Ndombe project in DRC, which ended early in 2023.
WWF Belgium welcomes applications from: Independent evaluators; Consulting firms; Research institutes; Consortia. Applicants may propose either: A single evaluator covering the full assignment; or A team consisting of a team leader and country-based team members.
Expérience
Experience in evaluation of development cooperation, conservation, natural resource management, and multi-country programmes is highly desirable. Budget Maximum budget: €104,000 (VAT included)
The proposed budget must include all costs required to conduct the evaluation, including travel, accommodation, field missions, stakeholder consultations, translation and interpretation services, and reporting.
