The Artificial Intelligence Engineer/Digital Transformation Officer will support the UN's integration of AI and data-driven technologies to enhance humanitarian response and operational efficiency. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions that align with UN values, promoting innovation, and fostering collaboration across units. The Specialist will work on projects such as developing AI models, creating automated tools, and improving data workflows. The position aims to strengthen organizational effectiveness and support evidence-based decision-making within the UN system. Experience in AI and machine learning Proficiency in predictive analytics and NLP Knowledge of computer vision and generative AI Ability to manage structured and unstructured datasets Experience with cloud-based AI infrastructure Understanding of data governance and security standards Strong collaboration and communication skills
