As part of the LIFT Zambia Program, the Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) is spearheading efforts to enhance access to sustainable and safe water in Fumble District. This initiative is aligned with the MI Model, which fosters small-scale farmers’ productivity through climate-resilient agricultural practices and improved livelihood opportunities. CSPR plans to enhance the incubation hub in Valencia Ward by implementing a solar-powered water reticulation system and constructing two water kiosks in Alamo Ward. This solar-powered water infrastructure will be engineered to address both domestic requirements of nearby communities and agricultural productivity, significantly improving water security for households and smallholder farmers.
