INVITATION TO TENDER Tender No. SOS/NO 020/08/2026 is now open for the construction of a boundary wall fence at Kazue Bridge/Esther Lung Secondary School in Kitwe. SOS Children’s Villages Zambia is currently seeking qualified and experienced construction contractors to submit bids for the construction of a boundary wall fence measuring approximately 254 meters at the Kazue Bridge/Esther Lung Secondary School in Kitwe. 1.SCOPE OF WORKS The project encompasses comprehensive site preparation and layout activities, followed by the execution of foundation and concrete works. Additionally, it involves the construction of a six-inch block wall, reinforcement, backfilling, and the fabrication and installation of gates. All necessary labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and ancillary works required to deliver a fully operational and functional boundary wall are included. 2. MANDATORY ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS A current SACRA Certificate of Incorporation or Registration is required. A valid Zambia Revenue Authority (ERA) Tax Clearance Certificate is required. Holding an active NCC registration in the relevant category or grade is required. Accomplished at least three comparable construction projects successfully within the past five years, as evidenced by verifiable documentation. Company profile, including detailed resumes of key technical personnel and client references, are available upon request. The role necessitates the registration of the responsible engineer with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (LIZ), ensuring adherence to engineering design standards, certification protocols, or professional oversight requirements. Prepared comprehensive financial quotations and Bills of Quantities (BOQ), along with detailed construction methodologies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. SOS Children’s Villages Zambia’s safeguarding, health and safety protocols, as well as its payment terms, must be strictly observed and adhered to. 3.SITE VISIT A mandatory site visit will be scheduled in advance, with bidders required to confirm their attendance.
