Kanazawa Sugar Limited is in search of a dynamic and certified SHE Supervisor to facilitate the execution of the organization’s Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHE) Management System throughout its agricultural operations. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Perform comprehensive SHE inspections and ensure adherence to compliance requirements throughout all operational areas. Identify hazards, assess risks, and conduct incident investigations to ensure workplace safety and mitigate potential threats. To oversee the execution of corrective and preventive measures, ensuring adherence to established protocols and timelines. Conduct SHE inductions, deliver toolbox talks, and facilitate awareness programs to ensure comprehensive safety, health, environmental, and quality training for all personnel. Ensure strict adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols, maintain readiness for emergencies, and oversee environmental control measures. Oversee compliance audits and ensure the accurate maintenance of SHE records and reports. Oversee contractor adherence to SHE standards while providing assistance to operational managers to uphold safe operational protocols. Act as the primary liaison for operational Age-related inquiries and concerns. Qualifications A degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Quality Management, Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline is required. Professional rewrite: Holding applicable SHE certifications as well as completed First Aid and Fire Fighting training will be considered advantageous for candidates. Experience Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in SHE, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Agricultural Operations, Community Development, or a closely related discipline. Essential qualifications include prior experience conducting inspections, performing risk assessments, carrying out incident investigations, and overseeing compliance monitoring activities. Proficiency in agricultural or industrial settings is highly desirable.
