Additionally, the role involves investigating incidents, reporting findings, and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. The successful applicant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as a supporting professional to the Road Safety Coordinator (RSC), ensuring adherence to road safety and land transportation regulations throughout the Company and its contractors. Collaborate closely with designated focal points and contractor-assigned Road Safety Coordinators (RSCs) to execute established Road Safety Commitments and Objectives. Coordinate internal and external road safety audits by managing scheduling, tracking corrective actions, and ensuring timely follow-up. We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee Vehicle and Driver Safety Management, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices in fleet safety. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience in safety management, with a strong background in vehicle operations, risk assessment, and incident prevention. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring safety policies, conducting regular vehicle inspections, and providing driver training programs to enhance road safety. Additionally, the role requires thorough knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations, as well as proficiency in safety management software and data analysis tools. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to collaborate with cross-functional teams and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. Maintain and disseminate vehicle and driving-related Return of Experience (REX) reports and safety alerts to appropriate stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making and risk mitigation. Distribute all vehicle and driving-related policies, standards, procedures, campaigns, risk assessments, REX documentation, and any other relevant materials to designated focal points within the organization.

Compile and update driver competency profiles, ensuring the maintenance of a thorough and accurate driver competency database.

  • Monitor and finalize Company and contractor driver training initiatives while assessing training requirements to enhance driver proficiency and compliance. You are responsible for disseminating critical driver safety standards and requirements to designated stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing a thorough database of all drivers, ensuring it contains current and valid records such as driving licenses, completed defensive driving training, medical fitness certifications, reward points, sanctions, and all other mandated driver requirements. Experienced drivers are sought to uphold stringent performance and compliance standards. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely and safe deliveries while adhering to all regulatory and company policies. Candidates must possess a valid commercial driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate various vehicle types efficiently. Additionally, proficiency in maintaining accurate logs, conducting pre-trip inspections, and promptly addressing any mechanical or safety concerns is required. Strong time management, communication skills, and a commitment to fleet safety are essential for success in this role. The Driver Rewards and Sanctions Policy will be implemented in a unified manner, and regular dashboards will be prepared to track progress and outcomes. We are responsible for organizing and integrating the execution of alcohol and drug spot checks for both Company drivers and contractor drivers. We oversee the execution of the Company’s driver fatigue management procedure to ensure its proper implementation. Monitor adherence to established working hours and mandated driver rest periods to ensure regulatory compliance. Maintain accurate records of driver timesheets and oversee the coordination of fatigue-management audits. Ensuring community safety through proactive road awareness initiatives and fostering meaningful engagement is central to this role. The position involves developing and executing programs aimed at educating the public on traffic regulations, defensive driving practices, and hazard prevention strategies. Key responsibilities include organizing workshops, coordinating outreach events, and collaborating with local authorities to enhance road safety measures. Strong interpersonal skills, a passion for public service, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences are essential. Additionally, the role demands experience in project management, data-driven decision-making, and a commitment to measurable community impact. To organize road safety awareness programs in collaboration with contractors, ensuring the content is tailored to the specific needs of the target audience, with a particular emphasis on drivers. Consolidate road safety initiatives submitted by contractors and verify their alignment with the Community Road Safety Strategy, relevant identified needs, and the established communication strategy. The incumbent will compile and integrate reports and initiatives executed by the Community Road Safety contractor. Monitoring, auditing, and reporting incidents constitute essential responsibilities within this role. The incumbent will be tasked with overseeing incidents, conducting thorough audits, and ensuring accurate documentation for comprehensive reporting. Proficiency in incident management systems, audit protocols, and data analysis tools is required, along with strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Additionally, the position demands a commitment to maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards while delivering timely and precise reports to stakeholders. Consolidate and pursue all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) incidents related to vehicles and driving that involve the Company and its contractors.
  • Monitor and ensure timely completion of actions stemming from anomalies, incidents, accidents, and audit findings. Coordinate quarterly Road Safety meetings for the Company and compile comprehensive meeting reports. Maintain precise documentation and deliver consistent updates on road safety metrics, driver adherence to protocols, training initiatives, incident logs, and vehicle-related Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) operations. Seeking a candidate with a strong educational background complemented by relevant professional training and specialized skills.
