Expérience
The Region-based Investment Specialist (RIS) at UNCDF will manage a portfolio of programs and projects aimed at mobilizing public and private capital flows for SDG-positive investments in West and Central Africa and LAC. The role involves providing investment advisory support, overseeing project implementation, and ensuring compliance with UNCDF policies. The RIS will collaborate with various stakeholders to design and implement financial instruments that address development challenges in high-risk markets. This position requires frequent travel and a strong focus on resource mobilization and partnership building. Advanced university degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 7 years of experience in financial or private sector with investment management Experience in project preparation and development of investment opportunities Fluency in English and French; Spanish is a plus Experience in managing complex teams and projects in emerging markets
