Pearl Hospital, a Level 4 multi-specialty hospital in Laikipia County, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Officer to join our team. Guided by our values of Quality, Efficiency, Professionalism, and Compassion, we are committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community.
As a Clinical Officer, you will be responsible for providing quality medical care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients in accordance with established clinical guidelines and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient consultations including history taking and physical examinations. Diagnose and manage common medical conditions. Prescribe and administer appropriate treatment and medications. Order and interpret laboratory diagnostic tests. Provide emergency and first-line care to patients. Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols. Support implementation of hospital policies and clinical guidelines. Perform minor medical and surgical procedures within scope of practice.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery. Registered and licensed by the Clinical Officers Council (COC). Valid practicing license. At least 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience (internship included). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an added advantage.
