URGENT VACANCY: MERCHANDISING LEAD Inert is looking for a proactive and highly organized Merchandising Lead to oversee merchandising initiatives for our clients in prominent retail environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal product visibility, ensuring meticulous stock presentation, and consistently upholding client brand standards. Reports to: Sales Director Monthly Salary: K6,000 Key Responsibilities Drive merchandising initiatives within designated retail locations. Ensure the effective oversight and coordination of field merchandising activities. Verify that products are properly arranged, prominently visible, and sufficiently stocked. Responsibilities include upholding nanograms, organizing shelf layouts, implementing promotional displays, and adhering to brand standards. Perform routine evaluations of retail outlets to assess merchandising effectiveness and compliance with standards. Track inventory levels and immediately notify the team of any instances where stock falls below acceptable thresholds or is completely depleted. Monitor competitive products, pricing strategies, promotional initiatives, and in-store execution tactics. Develop and maintain professional relationships with store managers and retail associates. Ensure the accurate placement and ongoing upkeep of all promotional materials. Gather merchandising data and compile precise activity reports. Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to manage records, assess data, and generate reports. Prepare and deliver consistent performance reports to the Sales Director. Minimum Requirements Earned a degree or diploma in Business Administration. Valid motorbike driving licence. Demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel and Word. Your role demands exceptional communication prowess, the ability to lead teams effectively, and a high degree of organizational capability. Accomplishes reporting with precision and maintains meticulous records. Capable of working autonomously while managing travel between designated retail locations. Prior experience in merchandising, retail, sales, or a related discipline is considered a valuable asset.
