Responsabilités
Curriculum Interpretation
Formation / DiplĂ´mes
Interprets and implements the Cambridge International Education (CIE) Curriculum Frameworks while adapting learning programmes to meet the diverse educational needs of learners requiring additional support.
Prepares schemes of work, lesson plans and records in accordance with the Academy's policy, ensuring that differentiated learning strategies are incorporated.
Pedagogics
Applies appropriate teaching pedagogics as recommended by Cambridge International Education (CIE).

Uses differentiated instructional approaches to support learners with diverse learning needs.
Demonstrates teaching guided by the eight (8) Cambridge Teacher Standards.
Assessment
Assesses learners using appropriate assessment methods that recognise individual learning needs.
Develops and administers valid and reliable assessments and monitors learner progress.
Maintains accurate records of learners' performance and prepares reports in accordance with Academy policy.
Collaborates with parents, teachers and other professionals to develop appropriate intervention strategies for learners.
Class Management
Maintains a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Promotes positive learner behaviour in accordance with the Academy's Code of Conduct.
Ensures that learners receive appropriate support to maximise their academic, social and emotional development.
Any Other Duty
Performs any other relevant duty as assigned by the Academy.
Person Specification
A Bachelor's Degree in Special Needs Education, Inclusive Education, Special Education, Educational Psychology with Special Education, or a Bachelor of Education specialising in Special Needs Education.
A minimum of three (2) years' teaching experience working with learners with special educational needs.
Expérience
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supporting learners with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Strong assessment, monitoring and reporting skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction effectively and develop appropriate learner support strategies.
High levels of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
Empathy, patience, resilience and a learner-centred approach.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
