HEAD CHEF The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, maintaining food safety standards, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring efficient service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all kitchen operations. Develop menus and ensure consistent food quality and presentation. Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve operational standards. Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety, and sanitation requirements. Manage kitchen stock levels and minimize food wastage. Monitor food preparation processes and maintain quality control. Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Required Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 Certificate. Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Food Production or a related field. Degree in Hospitality Management or related field will be an added advantage. Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in a supervisory kitchen role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure in a busy catering environment. 2. PASTRY CHEF The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked products while maintaining excellent food quality and hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare pastries, cakes, desserts, and other bakery products. Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the pastry section. Manage ingredients and minimize wastage. Follow production schedules and customer requirements. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team. Required Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 Certificate. Certificate or Diploma in Food Production or related field. 3–5 years’ experience working in a pastry section. Good knowledge of pastry preparation techniques. Must be a team player with good communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 3. HOT SECTION CHEF The Hot Section Chef will be responsible for preparing quality hot meals while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and kitchen operational procedures. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook hot meals according to company standards. Ensure proper food handling and hygiene practices. Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation. Monitor cooking processes and portion control. Maintain cleanliness of the hot section area. Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Required Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 Certificate. Certificate or Diploma in Food Production or related field. 3–5 years’ experience working in a hot section kitchen environment. Good understanding of food preparation techniques. Must be a team player. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 4. CASHIER The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately, maintaining proper cash controls and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Process customer payments accurately. Issue receipts and maintain transaction records. Handle cash and electronic payment transactions responsibly. Balance cash at the end of each shift. Provide professional customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area. Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor. Required Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 Certificate. Certificate or Diploma in Accounts or related field. 2–3 years’ experience working as a cashier, preferably in a catering or hospitality environment. Good numerical and record-keeping skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be a team player with good customer service skills.
