AIC Kijabe Hospital, a faith-based multi-specialty facility established in 1915, is seeking a qualified and experienced Manager Legal Affairs to join our team on a contract basis. The hospital, which celebrated its centenary in May 2015, currently operates with a bed capacity of 363 and serves patients from across Kenya and other African countries. Sponsored by the Africa Inland Church, Kenya, AIC Kijabe Hospital has recently been classified as a Level 6B National Tertiary Teaching and Referral Hospital.
As the Manager Legal Affairs, you will be responsible for providing legal guidance and support to the hospital, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing legal risks. This role requires a professional who can make sound, risk-based decisions in a complex and dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree Minimum of 3 years of legal experience in a large and dynamic hospital/environment Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practising certificate Experience in making risk-based decisions in a complex environment with competing demands Demonstrate the ability to contextualize and synthesize broad organizational issues and objectives and evaluate regulatory and compliance risks
