We are seeking a detail-oriented Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Specialist to enhance CMU-Africa’s capacity to assess, interpret, and amplify its impact. In this collaborative role, you will partner with program leaders, faculty, staff, and external collaborators to design robust monitoring systems, evaluate outcomes, generate evidence, and cultivate a learning culture. By bridging data collection with strategic insights, you will ensure that findings inform program enhancements, accountability measures, and institutional growth. The ideal candidate excels in cross-functional collaboration, adeptly translating complex findings into actionable strategies while engaging stakeholders across diverse institutional and cultural landscapes. Responsibilities: – MEL Partnership: Collaborate with CMU-Africa leadership, program teams, and partners to strengthen monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks across academic, research, and sponsored initiatives. Provide expertise on theories of change, results frameworks, indicator development, measurement methodologies, and reporting mandates. Embed MEL best practices into program design, implementation, and continuous improvement cycles while ensuring alignment with institutional standards. – Evaluation & Learning: Lead and support the design, execution, and synthesis of evaluations, assessments, and research initiatives to assess program efficacy, outcomes, and long-term impact. Facilitate structured learning sessions to extract lessons, identify improvement areas, and shape future priorities. Transform data into compelling narratives—through learning briefs, case studies, impact summaries, and other knowledge products—that drive strategic adaptation and organizational growth. – Funding Partner
