The role involves offering consultations, preventive care, reproductive health services, and patient education while utilizing the medical centre as a consultation facility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct gynecological consultations and examinations.
Diagnose and manage gynecological disorders.
Provide reproductive health and family planning services.
Screen and manage cervical and reproductive health conditions.
Prescribe medications and treatment plans.
Refer patients for advanced investigations or specialized care where appropriate.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
Provide patient education on women’s health and disease prevention.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Maintain compliance with professional and ethical standards. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB/MBBS) or equivalent.
Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Valid practicing license.
Registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC) .
Actively practicing as a Gynecologist. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Flexible consultation schedule based on patient appointments.
