Role Description The Marketing Manager is a full-time role based in Kigali with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The person in this role will develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive product demand, and support sales targets across key market segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning campaigns, managing digital and traditional marketing channels, coordinating promotions and events, and overseeing the creation of marketing materials. The Marketing Manager will analyze market trends, customer insights, and campaign performance data to refine strategies and report on results to leadership. This role will also collaborate closely with sales, production, and leadership teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and effective go-to-market plans. Qualifications Strong skills in marketing strategy, campaign planning, and brand positioning, with the ability to align initiatives to business goals. Experience in digital marketing channels such as social media, email marketing, and online advertising, including performance tracking and optimization. Ability to develop and manage marketing budgets, measure ROI, and present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders. Competence in market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities and risks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief designers, write clear marketing copy, and present to internal teams. Demonstrated project management skills, with experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and meeting deadlines. Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or building materials sectors is an advantage; familiarity with paint or coatings products is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Kigali, maintaining strong collaboration both in person and remotely.
