Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the data center operations team, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Monitor and manage critical infrastructure components, including power, cooling, networking, and security systems. Develop and enforce operational SOPs, incident response plans, and disaster recovery procedures. Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and oversee corrective actions to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with local regulations, AWS global standards, and industry certifications such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2. Analyze performance metrics, generate reports, and implement optimization initiatives to improve PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness). Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee third‑party service delivery. Collaborate with security teams to conduct regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing. Drive capacity planning and forecasting to support business growth and emerging workloads. Mentor and develop staff, providing training pathways and career progression opportunities. Required Skills Strong leadership and people management abilities with a focus on team empowerment. Deep technical knowledge of data center infrastructure, including UPS, generators, HVAC, and networking.
