Job Title: Individual Life Sales Agent – Lusaka, Kabwe, Mazabuka, Choma, Livingstone, Kitwe, Chipata, Chingola, Luanshya, Chililabombwe, Mufulira, Solwezi, Lumwana, Kalumbila and Kasama Department: Individual Life Sales Reports To: Team Leader /Sales Team Lead / Individual Life Sales Manager/Chief Commercial officer Job Purpose: To drive the acquisition of individual life insurance policies through proactive prospecting, client engagement, and relationship management, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and market penetration. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new clients for individual life insurance products.
- Conduct client’s needs analysis and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure policy renewals.
- Provide after-sales service and support for claims and inquiries.
- Expand the company’s footprint by targeting untapped markets and segments.
- Participate in promotional activities, roadshows, and community engagement.
- Ensure all sales processes adhere to regulatory and company compliance standards.
- Submit accurate and timely documentation for policy issuance.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Monitor personal performance against set KPIs. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of policies sold per month.
- Total premium income generated.
- Percentage of leads converted into active policies.
- Percentage of clients renewing policies annually.
- Number of client meetings, calls, and presentations conducted weekly.
- Accuracy and timeliness of documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Client feedback scores and resolution time for inquiries or claims. Competencies Required:
- Grade twelve Certificate.
- Minimum diploma in a business studies related course.
- PIA license for Agents.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Negotiation and persuasion ability.
- Knowledge of life insurance products and regulatory environments.
- Goal-oriented and self-driven.
