Job Description To ensure the successful execution of the bank’s Foundations strategy, this role will involve coordinating project implementation, managing funding initiatives, and developing a comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework. This position oversees the daily monitoring and evaluation (M&E) functions, overseeing project performance tracking, conducting on-site assessments, and generating impact reports. Additionally, it provides operational and administrative assistance to the Corporate Social Investment team. Manager The incumbent is responsible for establishing robust governance frameworks and fostering accountability, thereby empowering the Foundation to achieve measurable, sustainable impact in accordance with its strategic priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Develop and roll out Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) frameworks, along with associated tools and templates, for every project undertaken by the Foundation. Monitor and evaluate project progress in comparison to established goals, objectives, outputs, and outcomes. Perform routine on-site evaluations to confirm proper execution and evaluate effectiveness. Gather, evaluate, and derive insights from project data to guide strategic management decisions. Compile and submit regular monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and impact assessments for review by Management and Trustees. Ensure that projects maintain viability and achieve sustained benefits over the long term. Develop and oversee a centralized repository that documents all Foundation projects along with their associated impact metrics. Facilitate the alignment of projects with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ensure compliance with both donor-specific and internal reporting mandates. Assess key takeaways and propose enhancements to project design and execution methodologies. Oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of Foundation projects, beginning with approval and culminating in closure. Collaborate with recipients, non-governmental organizations, collaborators, and external service providers to ensure effective communication and alignment of efforts. Monitor project schedules, milestones, and financial allocations to ensure timely completion and adherence to allocated resources. Maintain meticulous documentation and comprehensive record-keeping for every project to ensure compliance and accuracy. Conduct thorough due diligence assessments to evaluate funding applications meticulously. Oversee adherence to the stipulated terms and conditions of funding agreements. Draft comprehensive reports, briefs, and periodic updates tailored for internal stakeholders and Trustees to ensure informed decision-making and transparent communication. Accurately document all activities and expenditures associated with Foundation operations. Oversee budget tracking and reconciliation procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare Board papers and presentations in support of senior management. Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, ensuring all statutory returns and files are properly organized and audit-ready. Collaborate effectively with beneficiaries, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), community leaders, and implementation partners to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes. Foundation events and initiatives are coordinated in collaboration with relevant teams. Professionally represent the Foundation during scheduled site visits and stakeholder engagements as needed. Ensure compliance with established internal policies and governance frameworks. Support the execution of audit recommendations, with a focus on Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and impact assessment initiatives. Assess potential risks associated with project delivery, compliance, or reputational exposure and promptly elevate any concerns to the appropriate stakeholders. Enhance the effectiveness and reliability of internal controls and governance frameworks to ensure robust accountability measures are in place. Offer operational support across all Foundation initiatives and programs. Provide support for key strategic initiatives and specialized projects as directed. Provide support to the Corporate Social Investment Manager as needed. Execute all additional responsibilities delegated by the Line Manager as required.
