We seek a skilled and seasoned Human Resources Officer to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will facilitate daily HR operations while upholding adherence to labor regulations and statutory duties. Key Duties Responsibilities include overseeing the recruitment process, managing employee onboarding initiatives, and maintaining accurate employee records. Process payroll on a monthly basis and oversee the management of the HR Information System (HRIS). Prepare and file statutory returns, including those for NASA, AHIMA, Workers’ Compensation, and PAYE, in compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence to the Employment Code Act and all pertinent labor legislation. Oversee employee relations initiatives, handle disciplinary actions, address grievances, and resolve conflicts effectively. Oversee leave administration, performance management, and additional human resources functions to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Compile HR reports and ensure the integrity of personnel records is maintained at all times. Minimum Requirements Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management or a comparable discipline, with a Bachelor’s Degree considered a desirable qualification. A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in Human Resource Management is required. Proficient understanding of Zambian labor legislation and its practical implementation.
