Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections along designated railway track segments to promptly detect and document any signs of track damage, such as fractures, compromised fastenings, or potential hazards.

• Ensuring the safe passage of trains by continuously inspecting the track for potential hazards, with heightened vigilance during and after periods of heavy rainfall. Performs systematic patrols in accordance with a predefined patrol chart and schedule. Promptly notify the nearest station or the Permanent Way Inspector of any damage or obstruction observed on the track. Utilize and ensure the proper maintenance of all patrol equipment, such as the patrol book and any additional tools provided, to uphold operational readiness and efficiency. Diligently complies with all established safety protocols and regulatory standards throughout patrol duties, ensuring the protection of the line in emergency situations. Responsibilities include monitoring the structural integrity of level crossings, bridges, and other infrastructure, with a focus on identifying and documenting any discrepancies or irregularities that may compromise safety or operational standards. Assisting in safeguarding the track during construction activities and performing routine maintenance tasks as directed by their supervisor. We seek candidates who have completed a relevant educational program and possess the necessary technical proficiencies.
