TLB and Dump Truck Operator Positions Available

Position: TLB Operator (Dump Truck Driver) – Two Positions Location: Rumphi H.E. Jackson Engineering Ltd (HEJ), a prominent provider of engineering solutions in Malawi, supports diverse sectors including mining, energy, agriculture, construction, and manufacturing. The company is currently seeking two qualified TLB Operators (Dump Truck Drivers) for its Rumphi Project Site. Key Responsibilities: Operate a tipper truck to transport construction materials such as sand, quarry soil, and debris efficiently and safely, strictly following road safety regulations and company protocols. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking brakes, tires, oil levels, lights, fuel, and other critical components to ensure operational readiness. Load and unload materials in coordination with site personnel while maintaining safety and minimizing spillage or damage. Keep precise records of deliveries, fuel consumption, and mileage to support operational efficiency. Comply with all traffic laws and occupational health and safety standards, reporting any incidents, breakdowns, or mechanical issues immediately. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure timely servicing to uphold performance standards. Follow directives from supervisors and dispatch teams while executing assigned tasks with diligence and professionalism. Perform additional duties as required by management. Qualifications & Experience: Candidates must possess a Malawi School Certificate of Education or an equivalent qualification. A valid Malawian driver’s licence in the heavy-duty category (Class C or G) is mandatory. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating tipper trucks or other heavy vehicles is required, along with a clean driving record free of serious traffic violations.
