Position: Maintenance Clerk Location: Regional Offices (Southern and Eastern Regions) Grade: HC 12 Reporting Line: Maintenance Supervisor / Regional Manager Core Responsibilities: Compile and process reports submitted by tenants, initiating job cards to facilitate action by tradesmen. Balance job cards and requisition materials for designated units within the section. Facilitate the procurement of materials requested by tradesmen following their assessments. Prepare monthly timesheets and overtime documentation for all temporary staff. Conduct on-site verification of completed work by tradesmen prior to final handover to supervisors or payment processing. Prepare and manage maintenance-related documentation through typing and filing. Maintain organized records within the section. Generate and submit regular progress reports to management. Education & Professional Requirements: Minimum qualification of MSCE, supplemented by a City and Guilds Grade 1 Certificate or a diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a closely related discipline. Professional Experience: A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in maintenance operations or a comparable field. Key Competencies: In-depth understanding of maintenance processes and procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication and decisive judgment skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently with minimal supervision.
