A company specialized in hospitality, security, and access solutions is seeking a talented system support engineer to join its team. Responsibilities:
Provide initial technical support for phone inquiries and client emails.
Deploy new installations of door locking systems on servers, workstations, program locks, and redeploy existing ones.
Maintain existing hardware and software according to agreed standards through annual service visits.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients to help them understand programs, resolve issues, and generally assist them in using software/hardware correctly within the hotel/organization.
Perform minor repairs as needed on hardware and locks.
Stay up to date and informed of all developed technologies.
Make relevant/justified recommendations to clients to improve system functionality.
Any other tasks assigned by the customer operations manager.
Desired Profile:
Must hold a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in computer science, computer science, or any other equivalent field.
At least 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in computer hardware installation, troubleshooting, and system administration in a very active office environment.
Technical experience or ability to quickly understand product components.
Must be fluent in English and French.
Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
Availability to travel abroad.
Mandatory residence in Abidjan.
Possession of a valid passport.
Excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and ability to influence others.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Innovative, positive, proactive mindset, and open to change.
Ability to prioritize and multitask without direct supervision.
Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
