Trócaire est une ONG internationale qui travaille avec des partenaires locaux dans les communautés les plus vulnérables du monde, ainsi qu'avec des personnes en Irlande, pour s'attaquer aux causes profondes de la pauvreté et de l'injustice, et répondre aux crises qu'elles engendrent. Ensemble, nous œuvrons pour un changement positif et durable en faveur d'un monde juste. Trócaire intervient dans une vingtaine de pays en Afrique, Asie, Amérique latine et Moyen-Orient. Nous poursuivons cinq objectifs : promouvoir l'accès à la justice ; parvenir à la justice climatique et environnementale ; assurer la protection, la voix et l'influence des femmes et des filles ; sauver des vies et protéger la dignité humaine ; et mobiliser le public sur l'île d'Irlande pour parvenir à la justice mondiale. Présent en Sierra Leone depuis 1995, Trócaire y œuvre pour la justice climatique et environnementale, la protection et l'autonomisation des femmes et des filles, ainsi que la sauvegarde des vies et de la dignité humaine.
