We are looking for a results-oriented and detail-conscious Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement operations, optimize raw material supply chains, and manage supplier relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring material availability, negotiating competitive terms, and maintaining optimal stock levels to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement Planning: Manage the purchase of raw materials according to the production plan and maintain minimum/safety stock levels.
Supplier Management: Cooperate with all potential suppliers in Uganda for each raw material, negotiate cooperation terms (payment terms, price, delivery, quality), and develop relationships with key suppliers.
Price/Tender Management: Regularly provide market price information for raw materials.
Procurement Budgeting: Prepare and present procurement needs for each week.
Inventory Management: Monitor raw material and critical item stock levels, as well as the turnover of each raw material.

Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role (experience in the manufacturing or production sector is an asset).
Skills: Strong negotiation skills, analytical problem-solving, market research, and inventory management.
