Nkoyo Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is recruiting an Accountant to join its finance team in Nigeria. The position is full-time, with a salary between 250,000 and 400,000 NGN per month.
Job Context
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support informed financial decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience in maintaining accurate financial records within a structured environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain financial records, including journals, ledgers, and general accounts.
Record and process daily financial transactions promptly and accurately.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Generate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations.
Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments and collections.
Perform bank reconciliations and regularly reconcile general ledger accounts.
Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Support budget preparation, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
Assist management by providing accurate financial analysis and reports for decision-making.
Candidate Profile
Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Minimum of an OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or any related discipline.
A professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ATS) is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.

Timely completion of bank reconciliations.
