Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and meticulous AutoCAD Technician to produce accurate technical drawings and plans that support our design and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of AutoCAD software and a good understanding of drawing standards and technical specifications.
Minimum Qualifications: Degree (Bachelor's or equivalent)
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and update technical drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD.
Convert sketches, notes, and design concepts into precise technical drawings.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company specifications.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to interpret project requirements.
Maintain accurate records and version control of drawings and documents.
Conduct site visits as needed to verify measurements and specifications.
Review and check drawings for errors or inconsistencies before final submission.
Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities and material lists if required.
Archive and organize drawing files systematically for easy access.
Stay updated on new AutoCAD features, tools, and industry drawing standards.
Requirements:
Degree in technical drawing, civil/mechanical/electrical engineering, architecture, or a related field.
2 to 4 years of proven experience as an AutoCAD Technician or Drafter.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and/or 3D); knowledge of Revit or other CAD software is a plus.
Solid understanding of technical drawing standards, symbols, and specifications.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
