The ESG/HSE Coordinator will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, while ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards. The role involves shaping sustainability initiatives, managing regulatory obligations, driving stakeholder engagement, and building a strong organizational safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement ESG strategies, frameworks, and performance indicators aligned with global standards.
Drive environmental sustainability programs, including waste management, energy efficiency, and resource conservation.
Oversee HSE policies, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations.
Conduct environmental and safety risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
Lead training, awareness, and cultural development initiatives in ESG and HSE.
Prepare ESG and HSE reports for internal management and external stakeholders.
Engage with regulators, community stakeholders, and partners on ESG and compliance matters.Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
Master's degree in Sustainability, HSE Management, or a related discipline (an advantage).
Strong hands-on experience in ESG implementation, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, Lead Auditor ISO 45001, or equivalent.
Experience in agribusiness, manufacturing, or related sectors is an added advantage.Required Skills
