The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is recruiting a Technical Assistance Facility Coordinator for its Refugee Investment Facility (RIF). This is a fixed-term, full-time position based in one of the RIF's intervention countries (location to be specified).
About the position
The RIF Technical Assistance Facility (TAF) Coordinator and Operations Co-Lead has overall responsibility for the successful implementation of the RIF TAF and supports the Project Manager and Operations Lead in operational support to RIF country teams.
TAF design and coordination
Maintains and refines the TAF concept, combining the unique RIF approach with industry standards for technical assistance (TA) to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in fragile contexts. Establishes and maintains a functional and efficient TA design mechanism that connects to and supports the main RIF transaction pipeline. Establishes and maintains an efficient TA budget allocation and procurement mechanism that supports the RIF deployment timeline. Oversees the overall delivery of TA across the portfolio, including quality assurance of TA proposals and troubleshooting during implementation.
Program implementation and technical leadership
Provides direct support and ongoing guidance to RIF country coordinators in designing and delivering TA packages for RIF investment beneficiaries, including support for submissions to the RIF TA committee. Leads the development of sector-specific TA packages, aligned with industry standards for TA design and delivery for SMEs in fragile contexts, and with sector-specific TA standards applicable to RIF. Conducts regular mapping and maintains links with local TA service providers at the country level. Contributes to the efficient deployment and procurement of RIF investments, including technical backstopping for certain country offices and transactions as needed. Coordinates the RIF TA committee, including convening the committee and follow-up actions.

Represents RIF in relevant forums and ensures learning of good practices for the RIF TAF. Supports fundraising for the RIF TAF by identifying specific TA opportunities and drafting proposals for the RIF TAF.
Reporting and communication
Establishes and maintains an effective TAF monitoring and reporting system, aligned with the RIF MEAL approach. Contributes to TA results in narrative and donor reports, and supports the RIF Project Manager and Operations Lead in internal and external reporting.
About you
To succeed in this role, we expect the candidate to bring at least five years of relevant experience, for example in SME development and technical assistance, social impact or private sector-focused finance, or grant mechanism management, as well as a strong understanding of the dynamics shaping humanitarian needs in forced displacement-affected contexts.

Compétences requises
You are a skilled relationship-builder who works effectively with internal teams and external partners and you are comfortable moving flexibly between strategic design, hands-on delivery, and budget and operational management. You also bring excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in an accessible way. Required Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including one or more of the following fields: SME development and technical assistance; social impact financing initiatives with a private sector focus; management of grant making facilities; program management in the humanitarian or development sphere. Understanding of the dynamics shaping humanitarian needs and development challenges in contexts affected by forced displacement. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish, maintain and develop lasting and productive relationships within DRC and with external stakeholders at both technical and senior management/executive levels. Ability to step into a variety of functions depending on the opportunity and challenge.
Formation / Diplômes
Ability to present complex data in an accessible format and use a variety of platforms and tools to manage and share information, draft documentation and reporting.
