UNICEF is seeking an intern for the position of Assistant in Community Engagement and Development in Niamey, Niger. The intern will support the Chief of Social Behavior Change in enhancing community engagement and participation in SBC interventions. Responsibilities include planning and implementing community engagement activities, analyzing socio-behavioral data, and supporting youth mobilization. This internship offers a structured experience aimed at developing professional skills while contributing to UNICEF's mission for children's rights and development. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in social sciences, communication for development, community development, political science, public health, or education Aged between 18 and 35 at the time of application Fluent in French; knowledge of English is a plus Proficient in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet use Strong academic performance or excellent academic/professional recommendations No immediate family member working at UNICEF
