Corebridge X is looking for an Accountant The Accountant will oversee financial record-keeping, generate financial statements, ensure adherence to accounting regulations, and contribute to the company's financial management. The ideal candidate is methodical, perceptive, and dedicated to upholding the utmost standards of precision and ethical conduct. Key responsibilities:
- Compile and preserve accurate financial records and statements;
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions;
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger entries;
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial summaries;
- Contribute to budget preparation, projections and financial strategy;
- Handle payroll administration and guarantee timely tax remittances where required;
- Review company spending and suggest efficiency improvements;
- Ensure alignment with relevant accounting frameworks, tax legislation and internal policies;
- Facilitate internal and external audit processes by supplying necessary documentation;
- Carry out any other accounting or finance-related tasks as directed.
University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline;
Competence in accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel;
- Sound understanding of financial reporting standards and accounting principles;
- Strong analytical, organisational and troubleshooting abilities;
- Unwavering integrity, precision and meticulous attention to detail;
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
